Welcome to our family cycling blog!

Hey friends! If you’ve found your way to this page, chances are that the very same cocktail of wanderlust, love for freedom, and a pinch of healthy madness runs through your veins as it does through ours.

It's the kind of cocktail that makes you wake up at 5:00 AM on a Saturday, pack your bags, and head out as a family to where the usual city asphalt ends and real life begins.

We are a family of travelers head over heels in love with the world and bicycles. And this blog is our shared digital compass, which we want to share with you to inspire your own adventures—both big and small.

Why bikes and why together?

For many, a bicycle is just a means of commuting to work or doing solo workouts. But for our family, it is the ultimate tool for exploring the world and strengthening our bonds.

  • It’s faster than walking, so we can see four times as much in a single day.

  • It’s slower than a car, meaning we never miss the scent of a pine forest, the warm wind on our faces, hidden trails, and cozy spots you'd never catch from a highway window.

Shared bike trips are all about teamwork, mutual support, the freedom to go anywhere, and chasing sunsets in a tent next to the people who matter most. These are the challenges we overcome together and the memories that last a lifetime.

What will you find on this website?

We created this space to make your future journeys comfortable, safe, and inspiring. For your convenience, we’ve broken the site down into a few categories:

  • Our Routes and Tracks: Detailed guides—ranging from easy family weekend getaways to self-supported, multi-day expeditions. Complete with maps, GPX tracks, verified campsites, and spots that everyone will enjoy.

  • Gear (Reviews and Tests): Our honest opinions on bikes, tents, sleeping bags, and bikepacking bags. We share our experience on how to choose gear for multiple people, what actually works on the road, and where you can save a buck.

  • Lifehacks and Preparation: How to pace yourselves during a group trip, how to distribute weight across your bikes, what to pack in a shared first-aid and repair kit, and how to stress-lessly transport bikes on trains, buses, or planes.

  • Tales from the Road: Our travel diaries, funny mishaps, epic fails (because what's a trip without them?!), encounters with amazing people, and the pure romance of the open road.

Who is this blog for?

  • For couples and families who want to swap couch weekends for active recreation but don’t know where to start and are afraid of the hardships. (Spoiler alert: being afraid is totally normal, we’ll bust those fears for you!)

  • For solo travelers looking for new, off-the-beaten-path routes or those who just want to read lively stories from like-minded people over a cup of coffee.
